ACTOR Aaron Taylor-Johnson — tipped to be the next James Bond — is the world’s most handsome man, according to a study based on ancient Greek beauty metrics.
The British hunk’s features were found to be 93.04 per cent accurate to the golden ratio, phi.
Combined measurements for his eyes, eyebrows, nose, lips, chin, jaw and facial shape came closest to the classical Greeks’ idea of perfection.
Expert Dr Julian De Silva said: “What makes Aaron so exceptional is the overall shape of his face, which with a score of 99.2 per cent is only 0.8 per cent off being perfect.
“The width and length of his nose is almost perfect, too, at 98.8 per cent.
"He also has a beautifully sculpted chin which scored well at 95 per cent.
“All his scores were strong except for his eye spacing at 89 per cent, the gap between his nose and lip (89.6 per cent) and his lips (86 per cent).”
Were he to get the role, Kiss-Ass and Marvel’s Avengers star Aaron, 34, would be the most handsome 007 — with Sean Connery scoring 89.2 per cent and Roger Moore on 88.8 per cent.
Outgoing Bond Daniel Craig scored lowest on 84.2 per cent.
The second-most handsome man in this year’s study was Emily In Paris hunk Lucien Laviscount, 32, with 92.41 per cent, then Gladiator II star Paul Mescal, 28, on 92.38 per cent.
Harley Street facial cosmetic surgeon Dr De Silva added: “Computer mapping techniques allow us to solve some of the mysteries of what it is that makes someone physically beautiful.”
Queen’s Gambit star Anya Taylor-Joy, 28, was the most beautiful woman in his female stars list released in the summer with a score of 94.65 per cent.
