Sports and music stars join The 2 Johnnies for their Late Night Lock In

Sure what else would you be doing on a Thursday night but curled up in front of the telly?

And The 2 Johnnies are back to entertain us every week with their Late Night Lock In series which sees them chat to some of the biggest names in Ireland.

As well as chatting with audience members and celebrating all the parishes in the country.

Viewers can expect fun, games, and even more craic featuring Olympic Gold medallist Rhys McClenaghan and singer-songwriter Lyra. Comedian Micky Bartlett will entertain the crowd with his stand-up performance, while music on the night will be provided by Irish folk-rock group All Folk’d Up.

Fresh from the Olympic pommel horse, Rhys McClenaghan will show off his new goldware, demonstrate his amazing upper body strength and chat to the lads about the training regime that secured him the top spot in Paris.

The Tipperary duo will also be catching up with Lyra following the success of her debut album earlier this year. She will not get off lightly, however, and will be tasked with the all-important job of judging an impromptu DIY fashion show.

Later in the show both Rhys and Lyra will show off their dancing skills for a game of Silent Disco on the streets of Cork.

And viewers will also be treated to a special edition of the Parish Quiz featuring the Parish Priest of Electric Picnic fame – Father David and his choir.

The 2 Johnnies Late Night Lock In airs Thursday at 10:05pm on RTÉ2
