Jennifer Aniston stepped out for the AFI Awards Luncheon in her first public appearance since it was claimed Matthew Perry "assaulted women".
The glitzy event on Friday night attracted the likes of Margot Robbie, Leonardo DiCaprio and Selena Gomez to the Four Seasons Los Angeles. Awards season is in full swing and the AFI Awards recognised the top films and TV of 2023, including Barbie and The Bear.
Jen turned out for the Beverly Hills luncheon in a smart black blazer, black halter top and red skirt with a feather print pattern. The 54-year-old opted for a minimal makeup look and wore her hair straight with a side part.
The event comes days after assault allegations surrounding the late Friends star Matthew Perry. As reported by the Mirror, the actor spoke fondly of Morgan Moses – under pseudonym of Erin – in his memoir Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing. Matthew referred to her as his "best friend" and credited her for saving his life.
It has now been claimed Matthew stopped working with Matthew a year before the book's publication. A source told the Daily Mail that Matthew "shoved" Morgan her into a wall and threw her onto a bed before she left.

"Morgan was no longer working with Matthew. He had a horrible breakdown and in the heat of the moment he could not control his emotions. He had a fear that he was going to be abandoned," the source told the publication.
Matthew was also accused of assaulting ex-fiancée Molly Hurwitz by the source. They claimed Molly "confronted him" after finding a romantic gift he'd allegedly bought for someone else and allegedly Matthew "threw a coffee table at her" in response.
The allegations come months after the actor was found dead in a hot tub in his Los Angeles home on October 28, 2023. Matthew had openly struggled with drug and alcohol addiction for years, but claimed he was clean in the 18 months before his death.
The 54-year-old's cause of death has been ruled an accident from the acute effects of ketamine, a powerful anaesthetic used in hospitals. The Friends star had substantial amounts of ketamine in his system at his time of death.
