Gal Gadot has given birth to a baby girl.
The Wonder Woman actress shared the happy news on Instagram with an adorable post. The mother was nuzzled in a hospital bed with her new born. Addressing her 109million followers, Gal penned: "My sweet girl, welcome. The pregnancy was not easy and we made it through."
The star revealed that she named her daughter Ori. She wrote: "You have brought so much light into our lives, living up to your name, Ori, which means ‘my light’ in Hebrew. Our hearts are full of gratitude. Welcome to the house of girls. Daddy is pretty cool too."
Gal and her husband, Jaron Varsano, have three prior children together, all of which are girls. The pair were first made parents with their eldest daughter, Alma, in 2011 who was born three weeks before Gal's due date. Their second child, Maya, then arrived in 2017 with their youngest, Daniella, born 2021.
The DC actress previously admitted that their growing family was chaotic as is. She told Flaunt magazine: "Having three children is messy and chaotic in the best way possible … If you’re at work, you want to be home. Then, when you’re at home with the kids, you worry you’re not working enough. It can be a vicious cycle — but you have to mute those feelings."
Gal's Instagram comments were flooded with messages of love and congratulations. A fan wrote: "Incredible bringing new life to our world. You are a light."
Despite the difficulties associated with the pregnancy, Gal has previously expressed her love of motherhood, explaining to News.com that delivering a child makes "you feel like you're a god." She told InStyle: "I love giving birth. I would do it once a week if I could. It's so magical and I always take epidurals, to be fair, so it's not so painful. Just the moment you feel like you're creating life, it's incredible."
Typically, Gal keeps her home and personal life pretty private, sharing only brief glimpses of her children. After all, she is a very busy actress with her most recent project being Heart of Stone in 2023.
